Looking to have fun on an ATV ride with like-minded people? You can do that & help in a very worthy cause for Prostate Cancer Research
Come one, come all to the South Interlake Rockwood Ag Society RED BARN on Hwy # 236 just south of Stonewall for the 2nd Annual Ride for Dad on ATV’s. ATVers visiting the Interlake area should mark Saturday, September 13th, 2014 on their calendars to participate in this amazing event.
Men don’t like to go to doctors, nor to be “checked” out for an enlarged prostate. Prostate cancer if caught in time has a 95% cure rate. 1 in 7 men in Canada are diagnosed with Prostate Cancer- this can change with research. This event raises AWARENESS while fund-raising for prostate cancer research. All funds raised in Manitoba stay in the province. So Dad’s, brothers, uncles, grandpas- get checked! Come out and ride for the cause….
Ride Day events kick off with a free breakfast for registrants and opening ceremonies hosted by radio personality Brodie Jackson from Qx104, who will also be participating in the Ride along with a few other celebrities. Once again this year, registered riders will follow the Stonewall Mayor and celebrity riders in an ATV parade right down the center of Main Street in Stonewall before taking off to ride the Interlake Pioneer Trail, the only officially recognized ATV trail in Manitoba!
Fund-raising for a worthy cause couldn’t be more fun, unless you happen to win one of the prizes for highest pledge earner (individual or team)!
